A new version of Astrocalc 6.2 has been released and is available as a free download to all currently registered Astrocalc 6.2 users. To download, simply log in to your account. While this release has many small adjustments that improve usability, it also has a major improvement in how the program deals with interpretation text files. Apart from this some minor improvements were done to the Midpoints module and a bug, although minor, dating more than 10 maybe 15 years back was found and fixed!

The last version introduced basic support for Windows Visual Styles, which basically make things look a bit better and unison with the theme used by Windows. Unfortunately I made a small mistake in the implementation only affecting Windows XP so this is mainly to keep XP users happy. As usual it's available to download for all Astrocalc 6.2 customers.

All good things come to an end, Astrocalc 5.6 was a Good Buy but now it's time to say Goodbye making place for the future. Starting 20 January 2010 all support ends for Astrocalc 5.6 and older versions, except for if you need assistance in the upgrade process.

We are here by announcing the release of Astrocalc 6.2.0.25 and Astrogeography 6.2.0.24, both programs now compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 and available for immediate delivery.

It has come to my attention that some anti-virus scanners are flagging a Trojan for the Astrocalc executable file. This is a so called "false positive" 100% and I will explain why. However, first I want to say that I understand this may cause worries but I can assure there is absolutely nothing to be afraid of, please read inside for the full story.

Astrocalc 6.2 was ready and released on 27 June and is now available in the webshop. There is a lot of work though preparing for updates to customers and this is still going on. Several hundred of records has already been updated and profiles created online and the first updates has been delivered, as well as new customer orders.
