Shipping & Delivery
Deliveries can be made either on CD by First Class mail, or by Download. You can choose which of the alternatives you want as a part of the Checkout procedure. Downloads are made available in a private part of the Customer area backend, and you'll need to Log in.

Processing of order and delivery are manual and are performed as soon as possible: either the same or next working day. Normally, downloads are made available within an hour or two during the day (Europe time).

Depending on our work load, or other circumstances, slight delays are possible . We shouldn't need to contact you for such small delays, but may do so if it appears necessar. Normally, our online shop's notification feature will email you as the status of your order changes.
  • When your order is Queued it means we are awaiting confirmation of the payment.
  • When your order is Processed it means we have received payment and will move on to dispatch the order.
  • When your order is Completed it means we have delivered the order, either by mail or made it available for download.

Due to the human factor, it may occur that you will receive your product before the status change to Completed but it will never change before the product has been delivered.

Any and all the information collected on this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, disclosed, or loaned.
Any information you provide will be held with the utmost care and will not be used in ways in which you have not consented. If you have any questions, please feel free to Contact Us about it.
Returns & Replacements
We generally don't refund any of our software as you are expected to download our 30 days trial version and decide if it really meets your expectations. There might be special circumstances, however, that qualify as an exception. This usually involves influences beyond the buyers control and thus we normally make a decition on a case by case basis after we've received notice from you.

We may replace a CD that was lost or damaged during transport. Due to Post insurance rules, a CD cannot be considered to have been lost until after 30 days from the time of posting. This, as you'll appreciate, is out of our control. In case of damage, always inspect the parcel on delivery and immediately make it known to the deliverer if damage can be seen. All our CD's are tested before delivery.
IMPORTANT: No refund and return of product are ever accepted without a prior agreement with Astrocalc Software.
Ordering
Orders of Astrocalc software should be placed online in our webshop and can be paid for securely online (see Payment Methods below) or by Wire transfer. New customers can place an order without first logging in, while returning customers should first log, so as not to miss any special offers (see below).
Customers accounts

As a part of the Checkout procedure an account is created with access to our Customer area backend, using your email address and a password for Login. When logged in, specially discounted prices or other resources may be offered. So please make sure to login before you place your order as a returning customer or you will be charged full price.


We have already created accounts for customers who have been in contact and for which we have a known and valid email address stored in our database. If you have already purchased an Astrocalc program but haven't heard from us, please use the Contact Us form to submit your details. We'll then create an account for you.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions
We use PayPal as our on-line payment provider, and the easiest and most secure way to pay is by using your PayPal account. However, PayPal also accept payments by Credit/Debit Card, so there is no demand to have a PayPal account for immediate online payment. Even so, we recommend creating a PayPal account if you don't already have one as it's a very secure payment method where you don't need to give out your credit card details when shopping online.

When paying online you are transferred to PayPal's secure server where you submit your payment details and the order is not placed until you do so. After payment you are transferred back to our site. IMPORTANT: If you pay by credit card, your card will be charged by PayPal, not Astrocalc. Please note this for your records.

You can also pay by Wire Transfer to our Bank, in which case bank details will be emailed to you after submitting your order. However, please note that this method of payment carries an extra administrative fee and has a longer turnaround before you have your product in hand. All orders by Wire Transfer are Queued until we have confirmation from the bank about the payment.

Payment can be made in Euros, UK Sterling Pounds, US Dollars and Swedish Crowns.

Special: In our Web Shop you can also buy a Gift Voucher, which can then be used as payment on Checkout. This can be handy when you want to give away our software as a gift, but are unsure what the recipient actually wants!

Anti-Fraud Protection
We cannot take responsibility for Fraudulent purchases made by your stolen Card and will not normally refund such a purchase. However, in cases where the fraudster is caught, we are willing to settle an agreement, usually when our software product is returned. The best way to avoid such situations is to create and use a PayPal account, so you don't have to give out your card details. PayPal is free and can be used in most online shops.
Cookies & Javascript
We use cookies (saved on your computer) and javascript on our site, in combination with sessions (saved on the sever during your visit), to keep track of your purchase information and make your visit easier. This is a secure method, the information cannot be accessed by anyone else and no vital information is ever revealed to the naked eye. But in order that our site should work fully for you, your browser must accept our cookie and have javascript turned on. This is simply to make your visit as pleasant and convenient as possible.
